I take the keys that she is holding out to me and I turn slightly to the car with my head down before turning back to Ellen. “I was joking” I grin before covering my open wide mouth again. “Are you kidding me?” I question again as I turn back to look at the new car my wife had got me. “Merry Christmas baby” Ellen says sweetly as she places her arms around my waist while I stare at the car. I grab a hold of the steering wheel, and have a look around inside before looking back to Ellen. “I love it” I smile “Thank you so so much” I say again and she smiles. “I was wondering why there was a bow on the bonnet” I smile “I didn’t think at all that you could have got me this” I continue. “Yeah, I managed to not give it away this year” Ellen smiles as I climb back out and lock it again so we continue on our shopping. “You sure didn’t” I say “So you’re happy about your present?” Ellen asks me as we start to walk with our arms around each other. “Baby, I’m more than happy” I smile as I kiss her cheek and we continue onto our shopping.
‘Ellen’s POV’
We had been shopping for over an hour now and were about to head back home. I had noticed Portia’s mood had changed since I had surprised her with the car.
